Through our distributor, Asahikawa System Service Co., Ltd., we received a request for a demonstration of the UAV and laser surveying system 'UL-1' from Sun Technical Consultant Co., Ltd. in Abashiri City, Hokkaido. (The current model is UL-3.) Measurements were taken in a pasture of over 7 hectares near Kushiro City, Hokkaido, and the measurement was completed in approximately 13 to 14 minutes of flight time. Additionally, measurements were also conducted using a ground-based 3D laser scanner. The UAV laser surveying system "UL-3," developed by TI Asahi, known for its PENTAX brand surveying instruments. The maximum flight time is approximately 30 minutes (during hovering).
